Florida Hols

Postby IskanderLaz » Mon Jul 12, 2010 9:16 pm

Going away at the end of the month to florida, lots of theme park shit to do with small child etc but I'd also like to do some more sightseeing off the beaten track so to speak.

Been over once before but 10 years ago but managed to get to St Petersburg and went to the Salvador Dali museum which was interesting and found a big book store where I found a few books I'd been looking for. Also did Kennedy last time but no launches this year so prolly not going to go back there, might do the everglades airboat thing again though.

Anyone been over and can suggest anything not theme park/disney related I might be able to try please?

Fekk off :D that was pre-sprog when I got to do stuff I wanted to do

We have 28 days of theme park tickets for 14 days ( missus has booked swimming with fekking dolphins for 1 day and it comes with 14 day tickets - disney tickets were basically same price for anything over 3 days and 14 days for price of 7 if we pre-bought them in UK) so plenty of shit for small child to see and do - I was looking for maybe just 1 or 2 things I could take a bit of time out for myself over 2 weeks! If there is anything not disney/universal/ theme park related worth doing - say Daytona or Miami?

Well, you could always try and invade Cuba with your 1337 ninja skillz. See if you can do better than the Yanks

Nope! My £60 Ipad knockoff works fine!
One thing though Boro - make sure your satnav is up to date, we borrowed one from our friends who own the villa we're staying in to save all the data troubles I posted about, but the fekker couldn't calc a route cos of a memory error! Was interesting trying to find a route in the dark from 10 year old memory, in a strange car, on the wrong side of the road etc, finlly ended up switching phone on for last bit!
Anyway we got here, it was 96 degrees when we landed last night, so  not expecting snow today!
